About Us

Who We Are

Hello, my name is Dr. Jennifer Lorenz. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine who has returned to Wisconsin after working as an equine veterinarian in Florida and Pennsylvania. After working in southern Wisconsin for several years, I have grown into what is now Capital Performance Veterinary Services.

The goal of Capital Performance Veterinary Services is to work with referring veterinarians and owners to improve the performance and lives of patients through acupuncture, veterinary spinal manipulation therapy (VSMT), cold laser therapy, pain management modalities, rehabilitation techniques, stretches, and exercise.

I completed acupuncture certification through Colorado’s Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians (now known as CuraCor), and my VSMT certification was completed at the Healing Oasis School here in Wisconsin. Most recently, I have completed my canine rehab certification program (CCRP)  through the University of Tennessee. In my spare time, I work as an equine endurance veterinarian, serve on multiple boards and enjoy working on our farm with my husband and the menagerie of animals we have.

We’re highly knowledgeable professionals

Started with a desire to do better for animals recovering

Capital Performance started with a desire to do better for animals recovering from illness, surgery, or who are in pain.

It started with certification in acupuncture and has grown into Wisconsin’s only all-species rehab veterinary clinic.  Dr. Lorenz works on the simple belief that when your animal feels its best, it performs its best.  We work to find treatments that work for you and your animal.
